The Maple Staple
This is a LIVE 60-minute virtual class Saturday 3/20 at 10:00 AM Eastern
It's Maple Syrup time! Even though we think of maple syrup as a fall flavor, it is actually harvested in late March. This class will introduce students to the difference between pure maple syrup and processed pancake syrup, and learn about where pure maple syrup comes from as well as why it is a healthier choice as a sweetener.
Then we will be making a mapley, delicious treat - Maple Rice Crispy Squares. An updated, and healthier version of everyone's favorite snack. This class is too sweet to miss. Looking forward to seeing you in the kitchen!
This class is geared for older kids and focuses on more independence in the kitchen. Kid's will need to use a stove for the recipe in this class! Ages 12-18
